Wyatt's 18 Month Report
Wyatt had his 18 month check-up on October 17 and he's grown a lot! He now weighs 26 lbs 5 oz which is in the 50-75 percentile (up from the 5th percentile!!), and is 32 inches tall still in the 25-50th percentile. I've noticed lately that it seems like he's filling out, which is the opposite of Quentin who was soo chubby as a baby and then thinned out when he turned a year old. He's been eating a lot of food so it's no big surprise. He'll eat six chicken nuggets while Quentin will only eat three. He also likes to try our food on top of his food, he really likes meat and prefers salty to sweet.
He says a few words like mama, dada, thank you, no!, go!, ball. He also signs eat, more, cracker, baby, pray. He blows kisses and waves. He likes to play with big lego blocks and cars. Luckily he likes to clean up! He also loves to sing to the radio in the car and is a big fan of dancing!
Wyatt has been getting kind of sassy lately now that he learned how to say no. He can be cuddly but not like Quentin. If he falls he doesn't really like to be held, he just wants to get back to whatever he was doing. He's still a great sleeper and goes right to bed without any cuddles or anything and never wakes up in the middle of the night. He's good at going up and down the stairs. He also enjoys coloring. He also understands a ton. I can ask him to do something and he knows what I'm saying.
The doctor says he's doing great and we agree!
