Quentin Turns Three

Quentin had been looking forward to his birthday since Albert's birthday in October.  In the morning he had a special breakfast and opened his presents.  He got a train set, a scooter, and blocks.

He had a lot of fun playing with dad and his new toys.  He learned how to ride his scooter too.

The main thing he wanted for his birthday was a strawberry cake and brown ice cream.  I made this using Paula Deen's recipe found here.  I used regular frozen strawberries instead of the ones with syrup since it was sweet enough.  It was very moist, tasty, and easy to make.  For the frosting I bought the Cool Whip cream cheese frosting, which is so easy and the right amount of sweetness.

Quentin is a pro at blowing out candles.  We re-lit the candles so he could blow them out again a few times just for fun.

I got the stamp of approval from the birthday boy himself.

To finish off our celebrations, we went to Chili's for dinner.  We're so happy to have this little guy in our family.  We love the countless cuddles we receive each day and all the funny things that he says. Love him!
