Christmas Festivities

On Christmas Eve we ate traditional Italian lasagne that I slaved over.

 

We made sugar cookies using my mom's old recipe 

and set some out for Santa.

After the kids went to bed Albert and I opened our gifts from each other since Christmas is exciting enough watching the boys open their presents.

On Christmas morning we woke up to this:

The boys had a lot of fun opening all their presents.

I was surprised how much Wyatt got into opening presents.  He was pretty good at it too :)

Quentin is an old hand at ripping off wrapping paper.

Quentin's big gift was a dune racer and Wyatt really likes his little Fischer Price car.  It's nice to have something he can actually play with since he tries to play with Quentin's toys.

We had a yummy lunch of ham, sweet potato casserole, and mashed potatoes, but we were so hungry we didn't take any pictures.  It was a fun, relaxing day and a nice way to celebrate the birth of the Savior.
