Blessings

This week was very busy. My parents, brother, and sister were in town during the weekend so we had fun going out to eat and hanging out at home until they left on Sunday.  We had Wyatt's  blessing on Sunday and Albert did a great job. It was very spiritual and everyone was teary-eyed. We had a small get together on Saturday for Wyatt and our neighbors came along with some of our friends from church.

Thursday the missionaries came over for dinner but we didn't start preparing until 45 minutes before they came so it was a bit of a rush. Albert made a wonderful shepherds pie turned out great.

On Friday we had Wyatt two months doctors appointment. He continues to be in the 25th percentile for height and weight. He weighs about 11.5 lbs. The doctor said he's doing great. She also agreed with my plan to help Wyatt stop nursing so frequently at night by using a pacifier. We had tried this out on Thursday night and he only fed once but woke up several times. On Friday night we tried it again and he slept for 5 1/2 hours and woke up once to feed at 5:00 am. Success!

Unfortunately Wyatt had to get three shots in his legs during his appointment and he was in a lot of pain Friday evening so much so that we had to give him some Tylenol, which made him feel a lot better and may have contributed to his sleepiness that night.

Quentin received a new toddler bed from Albert's  coworker who gave us one for free. We tried it out on Friday for his nap and he did great so he used it again Friday night. He did great again and never got out of his bed. I was afraid that he would roam around in the middle of the night but that was not the case so far. We'll see how it goes next week.
