Happy Thanksgiving!

This year we're giving thanks at our condo with our good friends.  It'll be small so there will be way too much food I'm sure.  I'm excited to see how the recipes I'll be trying from Pinterest turn out.  I'm making sweet potatoes, artichoke dip w/ corn tortilla chips, chocolate pumpkin pie, mashed potatoes, and brown rice stuffing.

I'm excited to take a minute to not stress out about how we have barely started packing, still haven't sold our elliptical, and don't have a tenant yet for our condo.  Instead I'm going to remember how insanely blessed I am for a wonderful, supportive husband who also doubles as my best friend and the sweetest, cutest little baby boy who now follows me around the house now that he can army crawl.

I'm very thankful for membership in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and all that it entails. I'm grateful for Jesus Christ and for His infinite atonement that helps me become a better person and so much more. In light of our upcoming moves I'm particularly appreciative for the social aspect of the church and the fact that no matter where we move we will always have a ward family waiting for us.  I'm also thankful for prayer and the answers I receive even for the little things in my life.

We have a great extended family who are always looking out for us.  Praying for us and providing moral support when they are far away.  I couldn't ask for better in-laws who have quickly become not only family, but good friends.

In celebrating the friendship that was created between the pilgrims and the Native Americans I'm thankful for old friends, new friends, and those friends who I have yet to meet.
