Too Hot

The weather this summer has been pretty miserable this year.  The heat index has brought temperatures to over 100 degrees too many days.  This wouldn't be too bad if our A/C worked better. Our bedroom was 84 degrees the weekend of July 22. We hid out at the mall that Friday and Saturday and we had fun trying to get food for cheap using coupons and gift cards and sharing meals.  At night we all slept on an air mattress in our guest room which was 5 degrees cooler than our bedroom.

The best news was that I finally was able to put in a ticket to have the condo association install an A/C unit in our bedroom.  We noticed that all the end units had A/C units hanging out their bedroom windows except for ours.  We asked about it months ago but never got a response so I called a couple more times and finally found out that the condo association would buy and install it for us.  It hasn't happened yet.  

Other great news is that it's supposed to be in the low 90s high 80s for the foreseeable future (TWC only goes out 10 days) after today.  So hopefully by the time we have another heat wave we'll be prepared with the new A/C unit.  Hopefully.
