Indonesian Festival 2011

On July 9th we went to the Indonesian Festival by the Washington Monument after we picked up our Pitango Gelato using our Living Social coupon (I had the dark chocolate orange sorbet and it was delicious!!).  

This festival was different than most because the main purpose was to help set a GUINNESS WORLD RECORD for the largest angklung ensemble in history.  Luckily we got there just as it was getting started because it was super hot out.  We both got our own angklung to take home and a head scarf which is pretty cool, plus we can now say we were part of a world record!  

I found some shade for Quentin and me, but most of the people weren't so lucky and were stuck out in the sun.
