3 Years

Life has been so crazy busy lately that it's hard to find time to bat our eyelashes at one another and think of each other as something other than "mom" and "dad" so our anniversary couldn't have come at a better time.  Forcing us to remember that beautiful spring day three years ago when we knelt across from each other at the alter in the Washington, DC Temple.  The alter is where you go to make covenants and to give yourself to the Lord and to one another.  It's a beautiful thing and I really need to reflect on it more.

It was the day that we were sealed together as husband and wife for all eternity.  It was also the day that we were sealed to all our children that were just a twinkle in our eyes.  I'm so grateful to know that I can be with my wonderful husband and our sweet son, both of whom I absolutely adore, forever. It makes all the hardships in this life not seem so harsh when you know that you have eternity to get things right.

Two unlikely families were joined together on May 17, 2008

Happy Anniversary! It was such a special day for sure and so fun to think of all the exciting adventures you've had since that day.
