Week 3 Renovations

On Wednesday we dropped some more things off at the condo and checked out the beautiful new tile in the kitchen/dining room. Unfortunately there are is no electricity in the condo so we couldn't turn on any lights and it was pitch black out so the only way we could really see it was to take a picture and let the flash do the work.

We LOVE the way the island has turned out.  We only had one drawer in the whole kitchen and now we have FIVE!  Now we just have to figure out what we want on the back of it...not something we had thought about before.  We're thinking bead board, but haven't decided what color.  Maybe stain it the same color as the front or should we paint the whole thing grey like the walls are going to be?

The contractor says that the granite guy is coming to come measure on Friday and maybe he'll install it on Saturday.  Hopefully it'll be cleaned up in time for moving day today and the get together on Sunday!
