Week 2 Renovations

Last week when we went to check out the condo we found the kitchen completely open.  Our contractor was able to move all the wires we have to keep connected to the side so we don't have to have an unsightly beam in the middle of our kitchen.  Our living room is full of the old metal beams and appliances.  We are planning on having people over on Easter after Quentin's baby blessing and we told our contractor the living room better be cleaned up by then!

Not much has changed in the bathroom since they had to replace a valve and for various reasons that hasn't happened yet.  They have made progress with the electricity.  We had to get a new electrical panel because ours was a fire hazard. Also, none of the bedrooms had ceiling lights installed and we didn't want to have to buy a ton of lamps for every room in the house so we are having them install ceiling lights in all three bedrooms and in the living room.  

We've gotten the ok to install ceiling fans so we want to put a few of those in since we're on the top floor and have no control of whether or not we have heat or air conditioning, which can be a pain in the spring and fall when the temperatures fluctuate so much.
