Demo Time! The Bathroom

The demolition has begun this week on our condo remodel.  We've changed up some of our remodeling plans.  Initially we planned on making the 1 1/2 Jack and Jill bathroom into two bathrooms, but decided to save our cash and just update it as it is.

Yesterday we went to Home Depot and picked out the vanities and medicine cabinets.  We are getting grey granite in the kitchen that we will also be getting for the tops of both vanities with under-mount bowl sinks.  The granite is actually called "spring green" but looks completely grey to me.

It looks sort of like this, although I didn't see the green like this one has:

We'll see if it looks green once we install it and then we'll pick the color of the walls.  If it still looks grey then we'll go with a light blue, but if it looks green then we'll go with grey walls.  It was super cheap so we figured it doesn't really matter if it looks a little green.

We haven't picked the faucet yet but we're thinking about about getting brushed nickel like they have on the pictures.  We'll be getting new toilets, don't worry.

We'll be getting a new bathtub and we want a nickel faucet for the tub as well to match the vanities.  We will be getting white subway tile with white grout around the tub.

Here's the new medicine cabinet for the Master bath (on the side of the vanity):

We're going to get this style of tile on the floor:

I like this sort of vintage look with the tiles which is very popular now, but is timeless.  I'm so excited to see how it will all turn out  :)  We still need to pick out the new light fixtures.

I fully approve! Can't believe it's supposed to come together so quickly. Excited to see the progress.
