Cymbeline

Albert bought some discounted tickets to Shakespeare's Cymbeline at the Lansburgh Shakespearean Theatre in downtown DC on on Tuesday, January 18. We had been to that theatre once before to see the Alchemist, which we didn't really like all that much.

The theatre itself is pretty and we got box seats which were great because I could stand up when I was tired of sitting and we didn't have any trouble getting in and out.  We really enjoyed this play.  It was funny and tragic and all ended well.  I loved the costumes and really wished I could have the dress Imogen was wearing...so pretty!  They also had a lot of symbolism in the staging and there was cool music that added a dramatic affect which was cool.

Here are some phone camera shots we took before the play began.
