We tried something a little different with our fried rice a little while ago. Instead of our traditional peas, carrots, and shrimp, we added zucchini and ham. It was actually quite good and even though we used large amounts of soy sauce, it still felt a little bit healthy. I love putting pork in things because it adds a nice flavor. We also add salt and pepper and sometimes use a little bit of a fried rice seasoning packet to add flavor to our fried rice.
