Recipe of the Week: Creme Brulee
Creme Brulee is one of our favorite dessert. Since making it from scratch is a lengthy process, we just buy a box mix. Using the broiler doesn't make the nice hard shell we enjoy at restaurants so I bought a creme brulee set with ramekins and a mini torch for Albert for Christmas for only $20. It sat in our kitchen for a long time until we finally got around to using it since we had to buy a little propane tank and figure out how to use it, etc.
It was a lot of fun torching the sugar and the sugary shell was very tasty.
