Ford's Theatre

Wednesday, October 7 we were able to see Black Pearl Sings! at Ford's Theatre. The play was excellent. There was a lot of singing, but it wasn't a musical. The stage was also well-done, especially during the second half. Since it was Wednesday and the crowd was a little smaller, we were able to move from the back of the theatre all the way to the front row.

It was really cool being at Ford's Theatre. It's pretty small, but like most old buildings the craftsmanship is beautiful. They let us take pictures of the famous balcony where Abraham Lincoln was shot before the play started and during the intermission we went down stairs to the little museum.
