Busch Gardens Europe

Saturday, September 19 we headed down to Williamsburg, VA to play at Busch Gardens with our buddies Kim&Joe. I really loved the European theme and we were able to visit Germany, France, England, Ireland, and Italy all in one day!

They were already decorating for Halloween with gravestones and boarded up windows.

We enjoyed watching the turtle chow down on his salad. He had one arm in the bowl and couldn't get it down fast enough, while the lizard carefully and slowly chewed on his lettuce.

Here's Joe on his favorite roller coaster in the park...THE GRIFFON! It was pretty scary dangling on the edge of the first drop.

We ate lunch in Germany and watched German folk dancing and a live band for Oktoberfest. It was really cool. We ate various German sausages and yummy cheesy potatoes. Unfortunately we didn't think about taking pictures until we ate it all. We did take pictures of our bumper car and skyride exertions.

In Italy we listened to a group singing Italian songs and I loved checking out all the masks imported from Venice and the beautiful flower necklaces.

We went out on a man made lake that they called the Rhine River that was beautiful and green.

Our last ride of the day was a re-do of the Griffon.

We came, we saw, we conquered. I heart military discounts!
