Tubing on the Shenandoah
Last Friday was a good day. No work! We went with our friends Kim&Joe, Courtney&Scott, and Laura&Blake to the Shenandoah River for some tubing fun.
In order to prepare for this event Albert and I spent all Thursday evening after an hour of exercise class looking for shoes to wear in the river. The kind that won't slip or fall off your feet. We went to two Wal-Marts, two Targets, and one Dick's Sporting Good store. We bought 6 pairs of shoes, 2 pairs at each Target and two pairs at Dick's. We finally settled on the ones from Dick's because they were the cheapest.
We also picked up a waterproof disposable camera from Target. We took the camera to Wal-Mart on Monday for developing and will get the pictures back next Monday. So that is when you'll find out all the juicy details of our fun in Front Royal, VA. A story is always better with pictures. Hopefully they'll turn out since we had a hard time remembering how to use a film camera and I took almost all the pictures (sorry, Albert didn't want to be in charge of the camera).
Kim brought her digital camera and we took a group photo in front of the bus at the tube rental company after our three hour tour down the river. As you can tell, Albert and I didn't bring extra clothes to change into and Courtney and Scott locked their keys in their car, which contained Scott's shirt. Yeah, I look bad. We did buy some pants/shorts to wear at K-Mart for a VERY good deal before going out to eat at the Apple House. I decided that I'm going to buy all my clothes from K-Mart from now on.

Albert asked me why we weren't the good-looking couple...uh, look at us, we're definitely not in this picture. Sorry Babe, we'll have to settle for cool and that's only because you're wearing those snazzy glasses.
