French Market

Saturday Albert and I went to the French Market in Georgetown. It was fun looking at all the goods, even on sale they were way too expensive for us, but I did get a couple things of nail polish that was discounted.

Sorry, there aren't any pics of Albert, he was playing photographer. Here are a couple artistic ones of me with a cool looking wall:

Here I am picking out nail polish:

We decided to get some Argentine gelato on the nice hot day. We got Sicilian blood orange and pineapple honey lime. The pineapple one was pretty tasty, but the blood orange tasted a little too much like the rind.

Here's a pretty Lutheran Church where we sat on the steps and ate our gelato:

Albert came home from Florida on Friday so we especially enjoyed our time together this weekend. We listened to almost all of "Eclipse" on cd (the 3rd book in the "Twilight" series) -- we think this story is much more interesting than the 2nd book and are a little addicted. We love listening to books on cd while we make dinner, do household chores, and go on long road trips. It's entertaining like watching a movie, but you can do other things at the same time so you feel productive.

On Saturday night and Sunday morning we made up fliers and sign-up sheets for the potluck we're in charge of for our ward (congregation) on May 31. It's kinda like planning our wedding reception all over again, except we have 650 people in our ward and not even 100 people were at our reception! Hopefully everything will work out. I guess if it doesn't they won't ask us again :D
