Kite Festival

We decided to check out the Kite Festival out on the National Mall on Saturday even though it was really cloudy and a little rainy. We had a kite that one of my old roommates had left when she moved out that had never been used. Although it wasn't as windy as we would have liked it, we had a lot of fun. Who knew flying a kite could be so much fun? I think we're going to do it again...soon! Albert's already getting ideas about kites he would like to make...out of what I'm not quite sure.

This guy was our absolute favorite. He was soo happy to be flying that smiley faced kite he was jumping up and down as he ran around...pure joy:

Would go again? Most definitely.
