Best of this weekend

• i made mini chocolate cupcakes with blackberries in the center (more on this later)
• we ate german tomato soup that albert made (recipe on our favorites)
• albert ordered drapes for our bedroom and a new tv
• i received an aero garden for our anniversary and a picture of our engagement (more on this later)
• we watched cool cultural dances and ate pancit and halo-halo at the Fiesta Asia
• we watched Warriors...In Their Own Words at the GI Film Festival and listened to the panel afterwards made up of the film maker and three of the men featured in the film (getting ready for Memorial Day next weekend)
• my visiting teaching partner brought along her new baby girl on our visits Sunday morning
• we heard testimonies at church, visited with good friends
• we watched our wedding video in honor of our one year anniversary...happy memories
• we reenacted the ceremonial eating of the cake using chocolate cupcakes which albert smashed up my nose...we both looked like monsters in the picture we took so I decided not to post it (for now)
