Old Navy + Elders Quorum BBQ
On Saturday May 22 we were one of those crazy people who got up at 7 AM to buy flip-flops at Old Navy for $1. We had a good selection and bought 5 each. Now we have 10 new pairs of flip flops that we have no idea where to put. The good news is that I have a color that will go with pretty much any outfit.
We tried to go to zumba after that, but traffic was at a stand still and by the time we arrived they were full and wouldn't let us in. So we stopped by a garage sale on our way home, ate breakfast, and went to Wal-Mart to pick up a container for all my new beads.
From there we went to Barcroft Park for a BBQ the men in our church congregation where putting on at 12:30 PM. It was originally scheduled to be at a smaller park, but this one was lovely. The weather was perfect and I loved how open the park was. In the front were softball/soccer fields filled with kids and their parents, but the eating area is tucked back behind a bridge and trees so we were pretty secluded. We got to catch up with friends and I brought two toasted slices of gluten-free bread for my bun. It was a lot of fun. Really relaxing and nice.
